welcome to sweetmyrtle...

i am a mama to two beautiful girls and partner to a wonderfully kind and sensitive man.
i come from a textiles background and love making and creating.
i have strong desire to simplify my life and i gain immense enjoyment from cultivating our small vegetable patch.

i started this blog as an experimental photo blog...a place to post random photographs and words and to develop my love for taking photographs.
since stopping my craft blog earlier this year, sweetmyrtle has now become a space where i like to share all sides of my creativity, from the projects that i am involved in, my craft book writing, a few home stories and of course my on going exploration with taking photos.
