one of my favorite flowers! my mother had gorgeous deep reddish purple—almost black they were so dark—in her yard at their last house. they looked so beautiful against the gray brick and gray siding of their house.
this photos is wonderful. i especially love the bokeh in the background—how it is the same lovely tones of pinks as in the flower in focus.
